Official Boomi team reference

Built on lessons from Boomi's own agent work.

The MCP incorporates selected knowledge from the official Boomi team's Boomi Companion: operational gotchas, connection-reuse discipline, marketplace recipe discovery, runtime-validated reference fixtures, and builder guardrails.

This is not a port of the Companion plugin or its hand-authored XML workflow. The MCP keeps typed tools, encrypted credential storage, and server-side validation in the critical path.

Three steps from sign-in to a live, agent-operable Boomi workspace.

  1. Sign in with Google

    Authenticate to create your private, per-user workspace. No password to manage.

  2. Add a Boomi API token

    Save a scoped Boomi API token — validated against Boomi, then encrypted in Secret Manager.

  3. Point your MCP client

    Add the endpoint below to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client.

This is a public service that stores credentials you provide. Here's exactly what that means.

What we store, and where

When you sign in we receive your Google account email. When you save a profile we store your Boomi Account ID, username, and API token in Google Cloud Secret Manager — encrypted at rest and in transit, IAM-controlled, audit-logged, and isolated per user.

  • We never sell or share your data, or use it for advertising or profiling.
  • Credentials are used only to call Boomi on your behalf when your agent invokes a tool.
  • You can delete any stored profile yourself, at any time, from your credentials page.
